Responsible for therapeutic intervention in several preschool classrooms, as well as early intervention in a Montessori classroom. Utilize theoretical models of classrooms in treatment sessions. Responsible for designing creative approaches to therapy sessions, and promoting a group learning environment. Work closely with classroom staff, as well as occupational therapists and special educators, in order to maximize generalization of speech and language skills. Conduct speech and language evaluations and establish goals for Individualized Education Plans.

Responsible for therapeutic intervention in a school setting fostering language development. Caseload included preschool-aged children to school-aged children with a range of speech and language needs. Devised creative approaches to therapeutic activities, providing avenues for success. Participated in performing objective/formal swallow studies, such as Modified Barium Swallow Studies and Fiberoptic-Endoscopic Evaluation of Swallowing. Applied intervention strategies in the areas of dysarthria, aphasia, dysphagia, language, and cognition. As well as counseled individual patients and their families.

Managed case load for 9 Early Intervention to preschool-aged children, with a variety of diagnoses, including Cerebral Palsy, Global Developmental Delays, Autism, Robinow Syndrome, and Down Syndrome.
